The Wordle Craze

Anybody have a 5-letter word for AARGH?!?!

So, which camp are you in? The camp that can’t get enough of this infuriating yet addicting puzzle called Wordle? Or the camp that says, “I don’t CARE what your Wordle score is!”

Well, this gal happens to be in the first camp. I avoided this dang puzzle for several weeks until falling victim a little over a week ago. Since then, I’ve completed about 90 puzzles from the Wordle Archive that I located with a Google search. That’s certainly more time than I had to spare. After all, there are so many Netflix and Hulu shows that had to go unwatched while pulling my hair out trying to find a word with an r, o and e, in no particular order.

It’s amazing the range of emotions we go through when playing, anything from exhilaration of getting 3 or 4 letters correct with our first word, to…what the heck is this word?? And I’m not sure what is more frustrating…having 6 or 7 different possibilities, or having absolutely no clue what the word could be.

Anyway, those of us with the Wordle bug will continue to Jones for 5-letter words while the rest of you shake your head and laugh at us. If you see anything really good on Netflix, be sure to let us know. We’ll need a little stress relief on the days we come up wordless.
